Basically, an Online TCG is a place where you can come to play games and collect cards. The point of a
TCG is to "master" a deck of cards. You do this by collecting all 20 cards in the deck. There are lots of ways to collect
cards, by playing games, trading with other people, leveling up, mastering deck's, donating graphics, events, freebies. Remember, the
more cards you have, the more people will want to trade with you! Have fun ;)
There are three types of cards: regular, character, and special. Regular and character are worth 1, and special cards are worth 2. Most special cards can only be gotten in special games/events, such as the Puzzle game, holidays, and updates.
You'll receive 8 cards from your starter pack. 3 will be from your choice deck, and 5 will be random.
In Broken there are Pieces that you get as rewards from some games, they can be exchanged for cards.
There are 3 different colored Pieces, Black, Red, and Blue. They call all be exchanged for a normal choice card of the same color.
To redeem your pieces just go to the games page and click the "Exchange Pieces" link.
Just like every other TCG, in Broken, there are levels. To level up you need to get a certain number of cards. Cards worth 2, only count
towards your card count as 1.
Once you do level up you get 2 choice cards and 1 random from levels 1-4, and every level after that you get 2 choice and 3 random.
Also after you hit level 9, every 200 cards you can send in another level up form and get the rewards ^_^. Here's the list of levels and cards you need to level up.
Level One: 1-25 Cards
Level Two: 26-60 Cards
Level Three: 61-125 Cards
Level Four: 126-200 Cards
Level Five: 201-300 Cards
Level Six: 301-400 Cards
Level Seven: 401-550 Cards
Level Eight: 551-700 Cards
Level Nine: 701+
After you reach Level 2 you are able to decide on different classes, they are:
Knight - Thief - Ninja - Mage - Acolyte
There will be special requests for each type of job, they will have different objectives and different rewards.
Also, after you reach Level 9 you will have the option to Transcend.
Transcending lets you go back to Level One, and your class will change to a Transcendant class.
The Transcendant class will no only let you participate in normal class Requests, but there will also be extra jobs just for the Trancendant Class.
In addition to more requests your level up requirements have changed, and so have the rewards.
The Transcendant classes are:
Lord Knight - Assasin - Hokage - Wizard - Priest
The Level up requirements for Transcendant Classes are:
Level 1: 701 - 750 Cards
Level 2: 751 - 800 Cards
Level 3: 801 - 900 Cards
Level 4: 901 - 1050 Cards
Level 5: 1051 - 1200 Cards
Level 6: 1201 - 1350 Cards
Level 7: 1351 - 1500 Cards
Level 8: 1501 - 1700 Cards
Level 9: 2000+ Cards
For every Trancendant Level Up you get 3 Choice Cards, 4 Random, and 1 Choice Special Card.
Once you become level 9 Transcendant you can send in a level up form for every 300 cards you collect to get level up rewards.
* In TCG's you earn cards from playing games. Games will be updated once a week, unless otherwise stated.
* Referring people, for every person who you refer you get 1 choice card and 1 random card.
* Master a deck. You'll get 2 choice cards and 3 random cards and a special master badge.
* Every once in a while I will be handing out freebies and special event cards
* Donating Deck images gets you 2 choice and 4 random Cards.
* Donating a Badge Set will get you 1 choice and 2 random.
* Donating Buttons get you either 1 choice or 2 random.
* Turning in Job Requests
* Leveling Up
Unlike other TCG's in Broken you can master decks of Cards. But unlike other TCG's when you collect all of the decks in a series, you then Master the entire Series.
Put ...!...!? in the comments box for an extra card in your starter set ;)
ie: If you want to master the Evangelion Set you must first master the Shinji, Asuka, Misato, Rei, Angels, and Nerv Decks. It may be hard but the rewards are 1 Choice and 2 random per Deck in the Series, so the bigger the set the bigger the reward.
Just remember you can only master a set once it's been announced and finished.
ie: If you have the Feather and Hikari decks mastered but I haven't said the set is complete you cannot claim the set rewards.
If you want to know what sets are finished I'll post a list on the card page.
To master a set just send in a mastery form like a normal deck mastery.
